While Drake and Haylie don't have a traditional love story, it's still a love that's meant to be. While long distance is no short feat for anyone, they have managed to thrive most of their relationship overcoming the distance. With Drake living out his dreams playing for the Seattle Seahawks, and Haylie helping build out a sports nutrition program at the University of Virginia, coast to coast travel in support of each other has become their new normal. With the anticipation of the wedding in full swing, so is the realization that they will finally be in the same state, wherever the crazy sports world may bring them!

Due to busy season in Myrtle falling March-September, we recommend booking your hotel room ASAP. The Marriott is an ocean front hotel with a world class pool, that offers easy access to all wedding weekend locations. The wedding venue is ~ 5 minute drive from the hotel, with the rehearsal dinner/welcome party venue just a 5-10 minute walk away.

Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, you can't miss the Sky Wheel! You'll find the most popular tourist destinations around this area with endless beach shops, restaurants, and the beach itself right across the street. While this area is filled with lots to do, this area can get extremely crowded in the busy season (March-September).

Located in south Myrtle Beach, Market Common has all the charm and great food. With lots of dining options, including some local eats, and a state park across the street, be sure to stop by here to get away from the crowds of Myrtle Beach.

If you're looking for the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer and live music on the water, head down to Murrells Inlet on the Marshwalk! Located ~30 min south of Myrtle Beach you'll find some of the best dive bars and bands in the area.

Head on inland to visit Coastal Carolina University, my Alma Mater and our current favorite FBS football team! Home of the Chanticleers and known for it's teal field, this campus holds so many memories for our entire family, and we can't wait for the year to come! Chants up!
